Birthday Cards

I always try to include birthday cards in my card classes!  I figure everyone alays needs a birday card:)  Here are tow that I recently made at my classes.  I love bright colors for birthdays!

Bigshot class part 1

Good morning!  My mom and I recently had a big shot class.  We thought different techniques, showed all of the different types of plates and dies, and everyone one made 4 different projects.

Bright and Cheery Cards

I like cards that make you smile!  And these two simple cards seem to do the trick.  

 On the balloon card we used the top of the cupcake from the cupcake punch and sponged around it.  I love this technique!  

Here we did a little "marker"stitching with layers of hearts.

Bamboo sticks

So for the leadership samples we were given a lot of stuff!  I mean A lot!  And part of it was Bamboo sticks.  They had us going in blind and just told us to come up with samples with the items we got.  So here is what I did with the sticks!

A little over the top..

So as many of you know I prefer a lot of crap on my cards.  I don't mind clean in simple for mass producing.  And try to keep things to a reasonable amount for classes(so my customers still like me) But when I sit down to just create, I tend to put a ton of stuff on a card!  So with that being said...

I actually think this is a bit much for me:)  I think it might be the color combo but it just isn't right:)  o'well, you can win them all!

I can't believe my baby is already 2!  He is such a wild and amazing little guy.  I will be sure to share pictures of his party soon!

Water Color Easter Card

 I think this is one of the cutest Easter sets Stampin' Up! has come out with.  I just LOVE these little bunnies from Everybunny!  And the Domestic Goddess DSP goes perfect with it!

I had a great time water coloring this card.  I used the combo of ink from the lid of my ink pads with a blender pen and then highlighted with markers.  I then added crystal effects over the images to give them that extra shine!  

I 'm sure you will be seeing a lot of this set!  Can't wait to get my hands on it a little more!

Relaxing

 So Zavian and my niece Zamarah(who are only 6 weeks apart in age) are always up to no good.  The two of them come up with the wildest ideas!  

The other day it was pretty nice out and they were playing outside when they discovered our empty sand/water table.  Well it apparently has Two "seats" and two "drink holders" perfect size for two 2 year olds.  They crack me up!

Hi Everyone!  I have more cards for you!

 This great Feather card was cased from one that was shown at Leadership.  They used the Petal punch and then cut into the petal to create a feather.  And since I love Feathers I had to copy it!  

 This card above is similar to one I got in the mail as a thank you from Andrea at Stampin' Up! for doing the leadership boards.  I LOVE this set and Love these colors!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  

 Here are the favors I made for the girls classes!  I figured lucky charms were at least semi healthy.  Ok healthier the candy atleast.  I love giving out treats for holidays, but I hate to have it always be candy!  So I filled these little clear bags with the lucky charms, tied them off with Lucky Limeade bakers twine, and added the rainbow tag.  I made the rainbow on my digital studio, punched it out with our 2 1/2" circle punch, cut it in half, and added the clouds (the top of the cup cake from our cupcake punch).  Then I made this cute bag from a brown lunch bag.  The Leprechaun is similar to the one that Kim Score made at www.paperpunchaddiction.com .

St. Patrick's Day Club!

So I thought I had posted these last month, but turns out I didn't!  Sorry to anyone who missed club!  Here is what we made last month.  This St. Patrick's Day card with Old Olive, Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Naturals Ivory.

 We also made this little leprechaun hat!  I used a disposable coffee cup for the template, simply took  it apart then traced it.  We used the circle cutter for the bottom and cut out a 3 1/2" circle.  This hat is Garden Green, Basic Black and Dafodil.  Thanks for stopping by!  See you again tomorrow!  

Fresh Vinatge Card

I love this set.  I am going to be so sad the end of the month when it goes away!  On this card I used the Fresh Vintage set with Chateau Beau DSP.  

I love the color combo, marina mist, crumb cake and very vanilla.

St. Patrick's Day

 I made this cute little box with the fun favors die!  I usually don't buy a lot of the box dies because I tend to make most of them myself.  But this one was to cute with the fancy bottom (or top if you make it the correct way)  I cute the shamrock out with the heart framelits and added the sentiment from Teeny tiny wishes.  The background stamp is the larger floral from fresh vintage!
